Building a profitable
trading system with
two lakhs I'm willing to lose.

No fake P&L. No edited screenshots. No course to sell. Every prop firm fee, every trade, every loss — published in the open. This is what real trading looks like before it works.

The Mission

One trader. One system. One honest document of how it actually goes.

I'm starting with ₹2,00,000 — capital I've decided I'm willing to lose. Instead of trading my own money, I take prop firm challenges (The 5%ers, Goat Funded Trader, and others) until one funds me. Every fee leaves a hole in the ₹2L. Every trade is logged. Every failure is dated and named. Either I find a system that works, or I run out of money trying — and you'll see exactly which one happened.

XAUUSD · The System

Two setups. Three trades. One percent.

The system is mine. The discipline is public. I trade only on Gold — what the specific setups are stays private (followed strategies get crowded; copied strategies stop working). What you see here, every day, is whether I followed the system or broke it. That's the receipt that matters.

01
Setup One · Private

Proprietary technical entry.

A specific structural setup on Gold (XAUUSD) executed off defined intraday levels. Entry only after confirmation — never on anticipation. Stop lossPre-defined by the level structure. Never moved. Target1 : 2 risk-to-reward minimum. No early exits.
02
Setup Two · Private

Proprietary breakout entry.

A momentum-confirmation entry on key intraday Gold levels. No fakeouts, no anticipation — confirmation candle only. Stop lossDefined by the breakout candle structure. Target1 : 2 risk-to-reward minimum. Hold to SL or target.
The specific setups are not published. The discipline is. Every day's tracker shows whether I followed the system or didn't — without exposing the system itself.

The hard rules

1
Three trades max per day. Hard stop.
2
One percent risk per trade. Always.
3
1 : 2 R:R minimum. No exceptions.
4
Only the two setups above. Nothing else.
5
No averaging. Never add to a loser.
6
No revenge trading after a loss.
7
No early exits. Wait for SL or target.
8
Hard exit only on an opposite-side reversal setup.
The Math

XAUUSD lot size. One formula.

The rule says risk one percent. The calculator turns that one percent into a lot size you can place in your broker — no math, no overrides, no doubling up after a loss. Built for Gold (XAUUSD) on standard spec contracts.

Lot Size · XAUUSD
0.05
lots
Risk amount$100
Per-point value$5.00
lot size = risk amount ÷ SL ÷ 100

Standard XAUUSD spec — 1 lot = 100 oz, $1 movement = $100 P&L per lot. The 1% risk is locked in your playbook; never override it after a loss. The market will be there tomorrow.

The Receipts

Every prop challenge. Every fee. Every outcome.

This is where the ₹2 Lakhs actually goes. Each challenge listed below either passed, failed, or is still in play. The fees are real, the dates are real, and the failures aren't deleted.

The Journal

Every trade. Inside the ₹2L lab.

Manual entries, no API spoofing. Direction, entry, stop, target, lot, risk, RR, P&L, setup tag. The good, the bad, the revenge trades — all of it.

Daily P&L

Each bar = one day. Green = profit · red = loss.

Setup Performance

Net P&L by playbook setup — adherence pays.

The Lessons

What the lab actually taught me.

Short, raw, dated. Whatever the market took from me — capital, ego, sleep — and what I'm changing because of it.

Follow the experiment

Watch it work — or watch it break.

I post every challenge result and every weekly recap on Instagram and YouTube under Restart with Raj. If it ends in a funded account, you saw it happen. If it ends at zero, you saw that too.
